Tiago dos Santos has been in the wood industry since 1999 where he began his career with a local lumber yard. From 2000 to 2022 Tiago had different roles with in Windsor Plywood, and joined SwiftSure Milling in November of 2022, as Sales Manager.
He loves to travel the world and good food. On his time off you may just see him on a airplane someplace different. His best travels have been places like Cuba, Cambodia and a walk in the Grate Wall of China.
Chris Maurer
CEO
A skilled moulderman and CNC programmer, Chris Maurer has 20 years of woodworking experience and is highly regarded by his peers as being one of the best 5 axis programmers in the woodworking industry.
His career started as a cabinet maker/joinerman. His keen ambition and hard work ethic quickly allowed him to move up the ladder into management. When the opportunity to become a partner of Swiftsure Milling and Mouldings arose he quickly accepted the challenge. Ever since then, Chris has worked hard to bring cutting edge technology and state-of-the-art production methods to make Swiftsure Milling and Mouldings an industry leader.
In his free time Chris enjoys practicing adrenaline sports including kayaking, rock climbing, running and dirt biking.
Steve F
Sales
Steve brings over 20 years of experience in finishing carpentry and installations . His wealth of installation experience gives him the end on ideas and solutions to help with your project.
He is married and has to boys as well as dog “names?”. His passions include music.
Derek Manhas
Sales/Purchasing
Derek Manhas has been working in the lumber industry for over 12 years. He started on the green chain and progressed into his current sales and purchasing role. With his unwavering dedication to customer service and superior lumber buying experience, your project is safe and on target when under his control.
When not at work he can be found in an undetermined location on the planet. From the age of 25 he has travelled to over 25 countries. His passions are hiking, camping and being outdoors.
Verna Bohn
Accounting Manager
Verna Bohn has a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Mindanao State University Philippines, CGA Pace Level 3 – British Columbia. Verna is responsible for Finance and Full Cycle Accounting at SwiftSure Milling and Mouldings.

Carl Morgan has over 30 years of woodworking experience and is a master Moulderman. When not at work, Carl can be found restoring antique cars.
